Patients requiring urgent medical assistance can register at the hospital's reception 24/7,
depending on the patient's condition, the appropriate medical consultation (internal medicine or surgery) will be assigned. The doctor's consultation is preceded by a medical triage performed by a nursing and emergency team, during which an initial medical interview is conducted, and basic vital signs are assessed.
If necessary, there is the possibility of continuing treatment and scheduling follow-up consultations at outpatient clinics associated with the hospital.
We assist patients who require assistance beyond the capabilities of our facility in finding a center that has the appropriate medical resources. Throughout their stay, patients are supported by our qualified medical staff. The emergency care facilities at LUX MED Szpital Gdańsk include consultation rooms, procedure rooms, an observation ward with monitored beds, an isolation ward, and a triage station.
Afterwards, the patient is escorted to the consultation room.
